Wednesday afternoon, Adams County officials filed charges against an Aurora man for a voicemail that allegedly threatened the governor. According to a news release from the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office, on June 20, Jeromie Rose left a voicemail allegedly threatening the life of Colorado Gov. Jared Polis. Today, District Attorney Brian Mason filed a Retaliation Against an Elected Official charge against Rose, officials announced in the news release. 41-year-old Rose lives within the Adams County portion of Aurora and the case was filed in Adams County District Court.
