A woman in Aurora was struck and killed by a vehicle near the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus on Tuesday morning, marking the 11th pedestrian crash death in the city this year. Police responded to a car crash report around 8 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of East Montview Boulevard and Paris Street, according to a press release by the Aurora Police Department. Upon arrival, responders found that a woman — believed to be in her 20s — had been hit. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital and later died from her injuries, according to the release.
