Wednesday afternoon, Adams County officials filed charges against an Aurora man for a voicemail that allegedly threatened the governor. According to a news release from the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office, on June 20, Jeromie Rose left a voicemail allegedly threatening the life of Colorado Gov. Jared Polis. Today, District Attorney Brian Mason filed a charge for retaliation against an elected official against Rose, officials announced in the release. Rose, 41, lives within the Adams County portion of Aurora, and the case was filed in Adams County District Court.
